Metal polishing and the polishing of other materials must remove the deformations introduced during grinding and provide a highly reflective finish, so that the samples can be examined under a microscope. Our polishing consumables are developed and optimized to deliver the best result in the shortest time and at an affordable cost.

The purpose of metallographic polishing is to ensure that the true structure of the sample is made visible with a surface finish that does not interfere with the examination in question. This is typically done in 2 or 3 stages using special polishing cloths and progressively finer abrasives. These are selected depending on whether it is metal polishing or other types of materials.
