Aka-Piatto 1200/15 µm is used for fine grinding and removes deformations created by a flat grinding step with Aka-Piatto. Please note that Aka-Piatto+ is recommended for fine grinding of brittle samples such as ceramics, cermets or sintered carbides. After fine grinding of the samples with an Aka-Piatto 1200/15 µm, they are prepared for a polishing step with 3 µm diamonds.
