For surface grinding of samples with a hardness of 150 HV - 2000 HV. Aka-Flat 80+/250 µm (and 120+/125 µm) are used for surface grinding of samples in sample holders, where high material removal is required. Aka-Flat+ has a higher diamond concentration than Aka-Flat and is therefore less aggressive, making it suitable for brittle samples such as ceramics, cermets and sintered carbides.
