Moran is a self-adhesive, PSA-backed metallographic polishing cloth designed for polishing non-ferrous and ferrous metals. Made of soft woven wool, it is suitable for polishing with diamonds from 6 to 3 µm. This cloth can be used for a single step polishing with 3 µm or 2.5 µm diamond suspensions on soft steels. The open structure of Moran makes it excellent for uniformly polishing large samples. It is recommended to use average forces of 15-25 N on a 30 mm sample.
