The Silk polishing cloth is designed for use on a magnetic backing disc. It is suitable for polishing and finishing, including oxide polishing of harder materials and coatings. Made of woven silk, it is suitable for polishing with diamonds from 6 to 3 µm and for finishing with diamonds from 1 to 0.25 µm, as well as suspensions for polishing oxides. This cloth can also be used for fine grinding of ferrous metals. The silk ensures maximum flatness and the best edge retention. It is recommended to use average forces of 15-25 N on a 30 mm sample.
